DO YOU HAVE A BODY? Contemporary Alexander Technique with Sam MacFarlane

Join us in The Dojo for Alexander Technique on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:15pm

No experience with Alexander Technique is necessary.


Contemporary Alexander Technique is a playful approach to changing habits, understanding tension, learning anatomy, addressing pain, & accessing support and ease. We will study as a group through games, movement, discussion, and more. The liveliness of this class comes not from vigorous activity, but from rigorous (meaning consistent–not tense!) attention: all ages (including children) and abilities are welcome. Wear the clothing you feel most comfortable moving in. There are chairs and cushions available for sitting.
