THE DOJO
Boundaries are the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously. — Prentice Hemphill
A dojo is a place of research
A place to research form into formlessness
Of the body, heart and spirit
To research is to live inside inquiry
To be in contact everyday with the mysterious forces that are beyond one’s individual self
And to come into contact with a collective body of practice
Weekly Class Schedule

TRIKAYA Meditation Lab with Gia Rose
TRIKAYA is a weekly practice of somatic meditation and inquiry.
Join us in The Dojo Wednesday nights — 6:30-8:00pm
TRIKAYA is a weekly practice of somatic meditation and inquiry.
These labs are different from a standard meditation class. We are working with subtle awareness in the body, but we are also moving, exploring the nature of emotion, and working relationally.
The name Trikaya translates to “3 bodies,” and refers to the tantric Buddhist framework of aligning the physical body, the mythic/imaginal body, and spacious clear mind.
Classes pull from core aspects of Dharma but decenter dogmatic transmission and invite you to creatively explore what actually works for you.
Classes are drop in and emergent but each month has a theme that builds on itself.
In June we're orienting toward desire as a vitalizing force in our bodies and lives.
Some aspects we'll likely explore:
eros as vitality + the nature of desire
relational practices around asking/receiving/lacking/having
the suffering of shallow grasping
Bring a cushion and a journal.

$20 | venmo: @jaye-marolla

I am a Tantric Buddhist practitioner, chaplain, astrologer, artist, dancer and longtime bodyworker.
My heart intention in this life is to support the evolution of Dharma in the West by midwifing real experiences of spiritual intimacy and belonging outside institutional boxes.
I offer meaningful support, accountability, and practical skills transmission through spiritual counsel, intimacy + sex coaching, and arts-based ritual craft.
My practices focus on subtle body/mind attunement and working with eros and creativity as sources of guiding spiritual intelligence.
I have practiced Vajrayana Buddhism for 20 years and have deep practices in Butoh, ritual theater, somatics and expressive arts therapies. I have worked as a hospice chaplain, astrologer, ritual facilitator and bodyworker.
