One Day Fall Retreat: Exploring the Mythologies of Rest, Sleep & Dream
I invite you to welcome the quieter rhythms of the season with curiosity and reverence. By reimagining sleep as a sacred practice, we may discover that our nights become places of insight, creativity, and transformation.
Rest is more than the absence of activity—it is a sacred threshold where imagination, dreams, and creativity quietly emerge. As autumn arrives and our environment begins to slow down, we are invited to cross a different kind of threshold—one that leads toward rest, sleep, and dreams.
Across cultures and throughout mythology, sleep has been understood as a place of transformation, prophecy, healing, and renewal. Together we will explore these ancient stories while experiencing rest as an embodied creative practice. Through intuitive movement, Yoga Nidra, simple drawing explorations, sipping on tea, contemplative conversation, and nourishing evening rituals, this one-day retreat invites you to rediscover rest as a source of inspiration.
Throughout the day, we will weave together creative practices that honor and awaken the mythic stories of Goddess Yoga Nidra and the dream-bearing pantheon of Erebus (dark), Nyx (night), and the Oneriroi (dreams).
